Package holiday flights to Croatia will take off from Kent International Airport next year bringing the Adriatic coast within easy reach of travellers from the south east of England.
The charter trips launch in May 2010 and will be operated by Newmarket Holidays, one of the UK’s largest specialist tour operators. The company has flown from the airport in Manston for several years now. Besides Croatia, Newmarket will launch charter trips to Italy, Austria, Portugal and Malta from Kent airport.
Company representative Alison Keeble said: "We've had another good year at Manston and were pleasantly surprised by how demand held up strongly despite the recession.
"Our packages from Manston are always popular as our tours mean people experience the country rather than just staying in a resort."
Newmarket offers a range of holiday programmes at each of its destinations. Among the options in Croatia is a 8-days tour ‘Treasures of Croatia’ which takes in delights of Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, Plitvice Lakes and Istria.
