5 May – 9 August 2009 | Marc Chagall exhibition will be open from May 5 to August 9 in the Split City Hall featuring seventy seven Chagall's works presented under the title "Dreams of love, poetry and faith".

Chagall’s work includes some of the best-known and most-loved paintings of our time. He was associated with several key art movements and one of the most successful artists of the twentieth century. 

Russian-born Chagall created artwork in virtually every artistic medium, including paintings, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramics, tapestries and fine art prints.
