The first Licensing Factory New Europe show launches in September with aim to unlock the “New Europe” territories for licensors and licensees.
Taking place in Rovinj, the International licensing and merchandising show and conference will run from September 22nd to 25th 2009 and aims to give delegates a better understanding of the “New Europe” territories and the licensing marketplace.
These will include Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Ukraine, Turkey, Slovenia, Moldova and Croatia among others.
According to Creata, the organiser of the show, there is a market of 400 million consumers across these territories and they hope the new show will help expand licensing in these growing areas.
Four special events have been designed for delegates to network, including a welcome party, a Mediterranean party, a New Europe party and a Farewell party.
A range of workshops and seminars will also run throughout the show, including a module about New Europe emerging market presented by Nenad Pacek, director of the Economist Intelligence Unit for CEEMEA.
Other seminars, keynotes and workshops will offer local information, details on the state of retail across all channels, cover issues such as regional and cultural differences and present a number of case studies to give advice to companies looking to break into the market.
