Croatian company Supernova Hrvatska, part of the Austrian group Supernova Holding involved in real estate investments in Austria, Slovenia and Croatia, announced the start of the construction of shopping centre Supernova Zagreb.
Building permits are expected to be issued in the next few weeks, and the required rent occupancy of 70% needed to finance the project has already been exceeded, Grgur Jolic, director of the Croatian company Supernova said for the media.
Supernova Zagreb will be the biggest shopping and entertainment centre in Croatia with a hotel and office space at an area of 270.000 m² and will create ca. 5.000 new workplaces. The centre will be built in Buzin, 10 minutes from the centre of Zagreb. This will be the first trade centre in Croatia with a direct connection to the motorway, thus guaranteeing its visitors a fast approach without stress.
The accessibility by public transportation is given with bus lines and a directly connected city train station, which is in plan. The visitors of this unique shopping and entertainment pleasure have at their disposal a total of 5.600 free parking spaces placed at three different levels.
The overall investment volume for Supernova Zagreb amounts to ca. 500 million Euro and creates some 5.000 new workplaces in the following areas of business: retail, hotel, management, administration and service.
Supernova Zagreb will offer a shopping centre on several floors at an area of 270.000 m2 that includes a cinema complex, as well as a 100-meter high tower with business hotel and attractive office spaces. The neighbouring Supernova Retail Park makes with further 1.600 free-of-charge customer parking spaces, attractive offices, one do-it-yourself store as also further gastronomy and retail stores a perfect supplement to the shopping centre.
