Scottish budget airline Flyglobespan has announced new flights to Croatia as part of its programme for the summer 2010 season.
The carrier will start flights to Dubrovnik on May 5th from its base at Aberdeen Airport bringing the jewel of the Adriatic coast within easy reach of travellers from the north east of Scotland.
Flights will run once a week on Wednesdays and mark the first direct service between the two cities.
Single tickets start at £66.99 one way including taxes and charges.
Rick Green, the Edinburgh-based carrier’s chief executive, said: “We want to give the people of the north-east wide and varied holiday options from their own doorstep and have continually looked to sensibly grow our programme from there”.
“The response from the local population has been superb and we look forward to building on this and growing our programme in the future.
“Dalaman was a new route for 2009 and that worked well. We look for Dubrovnik to have similar appeal.”
