A new multi-purpose centre Zamet opened last night in the city of Rijeka. It is a modern public complex which will, in addition to the sports hall, include a library, an office of the local administration Zamet, a number of commercial facilities, a public square and a garage. The sports hall has been designed to host various sports competitions and cultural events.
The Zamet Centre has been perfectly integrated into the surrounding terrain owing to the architecture bureau "Studio 3LHD" from Zagreb. The project was financially supported by S Immorent Leasing International Holding d.o.o. Zagreb, and the construction work was carried out by "GP Krk".
The building costs of the Centre Zamet amount to HRK 152 million (EUR 21 million) increased by the costs of financing by way of an operating lease over a period of 25 years.
The investor of the Centre Zamet is the company Rijeka sport d.o.o., in 100% ownership of the City of Rijeka.
