The Luxemburg-based company CVC Capital Partners has announced its plan to purchase the Croatian brewery Zagrebacka Pivovara, currently owned by the Belgian company Anheuser-Busch InBev, next year.

The company plans to purchase 71.92 per cent of the shares of the Zagrebacka Pivovara brewery, and also to buy breweries in Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The total value of the transaction amounts to USD 3.03 billion.
