Le Meridien Lav Split hotel scooped four awards – two in European category and two in national category – at the World Travel Awards European regional ceremony, staged in the luxurious Marriott Praia D’El Rey in Portugal on 17th October.

The awards, described by the Wall Street Journal as the “Oscars” of the global travel and tourism industry, revealed who are the “best of the best” in the region.

Le Meridien Lav won the titles Europe's Leading Casino Resort, Europe's Leading Conference Hotel, Croatia's Leading Hotel and Croatia's Leading Spa Resort.

Riva – Hvar Yacht Harbor Hotel won the title Croatia's Leading Boutique Hotel 

Nearly 1500 travel companies were nominated in 177 categories with votes cast by travel professionals from 183,000 travel agencies, tour and transport companies and tourism organizations in over 160 countries across the globe.
