According to a new investigation that was carried out by Zoover.com, a holiday review website, Americans find Croatia to be one of the most hospitable countries in the world. This is according to a survey that was taken by thousands of people and showed what countries offer the warmest welcome to tourists.
The goal of the survey was to find out which country offered the most hospitality. Croatia came in fifth with 10 per cent of the overall votes. The participants were able to choose from a list of countries from all over the world.
Greece was the country which scored best with 20 per cent of the overall votes, followed by Thailand and Australia also ranked high on the list with 17 and 13 per cent of the votes respectively. Great Britain came in fourth with 12 per cent of the votes.
Russia scored the worst on the hospitality survey with only 4 per cent votes. Other countries like France and Mexico also failed to rank high, bringing in only about 5 per cent of the votes.
Internationally about 24,301 people voted on the polls, and 1,467 of these people were from the United States.
