British holidaymakers heading to Croatia can expect a ‘diverse Mediterranean experience’ during their trip, it has been claimed.
This is according to Meri Matesic, director of the Croatian National Tourist Office for the UK and Ireland, who also said the country offers 'great value for money'.
Ms Matesic was speaking after Croatia was named one of Thomson and First Choice's top ten destinations for next year. The country was praised for its breath-taking mountainous landscapes, rich green forests and medieval cities, and one of the trendiest holiday destinations for Brits.
“We are delighted that Croatia has been included in Thomson and First Choice's Top Ten Hot Destinations for 2010 and our country is proving popular with travellers from all over the UK and Ireland,” Ms Matesic commented.
"With short flight times from London and regional airports, Croatia offers a diverse Mediterranean holiday experience and provides great value for money," added Meri Matesic.
