Inverness Airport is holding a special show next month to highlight Croatia and the number of other holiday destinations that are available from the Scottish city.
The Destinations Show will take place at the airport terminal building on Thursday, February 11, and will feature holiday companies and tour operators which offer flights and holiday packages from Inverness during 2010.
The destinations where holidaymakers can fly to this summer include Croatia, Majorca, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Jersey, Madeira, Malta and Portugal.
The representatives from the holiday companies will be on hand to answer questions on the destinations, including Alba Travel, Newmarket Holidays, Balkan Holidays, Discover Jersey and Falcon Travel.
The event will run from 2pm until 8pm in the cafe area of the airport.
Commenting on the forthcoming event, airport manager Graeme Bell said: “It is a great opportunity for us to be able to showcase all the destinations on offer from Inverness Airport. Early indications from all of our holiday partners are that bookings are looking good for 2010 and we are hoping that lots of locals will manage to visit our event to find out what is on offer from Inverness.”
Newmarket Holidays, one of the companies participating at the show, offers holidays to Rabac and Porec, as well as Treasures of Croatia and Croatian Highlights & A Taste of Slovenia tours. Prices start at £579 for 8-day holiday departing Inverness on 28th June 2010.
