Works on the construction of Histria Mall, the first shopping and entertainment centre in Porec (Istria), which will be carried out by the company Porec Centar, will begin in the spring of 2010.

Histria Mall shopping centre will be built in the main trade zone in Porec, in the eastern part of the town, offering an easy access to the locals and visitors from the whole region.

The centre will cover a total area of 23,500 square metres on three floors, and will include a supermarket, fashion and luxury brands stores, entertainment and recreational facilities, restaurants, offices and 850 parking spaces.

The value of the project amounts to EUR 35 million and the centre will create one hundred jobs. Histria Mall is expected to be completed before the 2011 tourist season.
