Croatian charter airline Adria Wings will launch flights between the Adriatic town of Rijeka and the town of Nis, in southern Serbia in May, Serbian media reported on Monday.
The flights on the Nis-Rijeka route will be three times a week, media quoted the head of the Rijeka airport, Mladen Pasaric. Various airlines service destinations in Austria, Germany and Scandinavia from Rijeka.
Adria Wings will be the third air carrier that will fly to Nis during the summer season. Montenegro Airlines begun daily flights from the Montenegrin capital Podgorica to Nis in February, and Italian low-cost airline Wind Jet in December launched regular flights twice a week between Nis and Italy's Bologna.
