Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will launch new flight to Croatia from Germany. Starting in May, Ryanair will add a new route from Frankfurt Hahn to Istrian coastal city of Pula.
The announcement of the new route to Croatia came yesterday when the airline shipped its 25 millionth passenger from the Frankfurt-Hahn airport. The airline will also launch new route to Agadir in Morocco.
Ryanair’s CEO Michael O'Leary said:
"Ryanair is delighted to be able to have welcomed 25 million visitors since 1999 in Frankfurt-Hahn, and announce news of two new routes to Agadir in Morocco and Pula in Croatia. This summer, tourists are now from 54 exciting destinations / to Frankfurt-Hahn to choose from. In addition, we expect to ensure first time this year the four-million mark at the Hunsrück-Airport and thus break 4,000 jobs."
O'Leary noted that Ryanair's passenger growth at Hahn's is significant - from 90,000 in the first to over four million this year - and added that the airline will unlock one million tickets for only five euros (including the passenger-based taxes and fees).
Tickets can be booked until Thursday evening, 11 February 2010, for travel Tuesday through Thursday in March 2010.
