Croatia’s skier Ivica Kostelic won silver medal in the men's super combined slalom race Sunday at the Vancouver Olympics event held at Whistler Creekside.
American Bode Miller won the Olympic gold with finishing time of 2:44.92 minutes, 0.33 ahead of Ivica Kostelic. Third was Switzerland's Silvan Zurbriggen at 2:45.32.
"I was really nervous. I was a favourite for a medal before the Olympic Games, and there was a lot of pressure. I dreamt about a medal, and it's finally become a reality," Kostelic said after the race.
Ivica Kostelic now has two Olympic silvers, closing the gap a little on his sister Janica, who is the most successful woman Alpine racer in games history. She won four golds and two silvers before retiring in 2007.
