Croatia joined the small club of countries that have entered into the visa waiver program, said Stewart Baker, Assistant Secretary for Homeland Security.
The deal was signed today with the Croatian FM. Croatia is one of the few countries, non EU member that has surpassed EU members when it comes to visa free travel.
Slovenia remains a champion in the region, if not world wide as the only country to have visa free travel since their independence in 1991, when their visas were removed for virtually every country, including US, Canada, Australia.
