Croatia’s airspace and the country's airports are open without any restrictions, the Traffic Safety Authority was quoted as saying this morning by news agency HINA.

Spokesperson Olivera Ilijas noted that the authority would be keeping a close eye on out for any developments in the situation in order to bring in timely decisions were the need to arise, in the line of what is happening throughout the rest of Europe.

Due to a cloud of volcanic ash from Iceland, over the weekend Croatia had also closed or restricted its airspace.
