Austrian real-estate developer m2 Immobilien has received the permit for the construction of Supernova, a 110,000 m2 shopping centre in Buzin, just outside of the Croatian capital Zagreb.

Supernova Zagreb will be one of the biggest shopping and entertainment centres in Croatia (110,000m2) with a hotel and office space (30,000m2) and will create some 5.000 new workplaces. The centre will be built in Buzin, 10 minutes from the centre of Zagreb.

This will be the first trade centre in Croatia with a direct connection to the motorway, thus guaranteeing its visitors a fast approach without stress. The accessibility by public transportation is given with bus lines and a direct link with city’s train station. The visitors will have at their disposal a total of 3.500 free parking spaces placed at three different levels.

The overall investment volume for Supernova Zagreb amounts to around 250 million Euro. Construction works will start immediately and the centre could open by autumn 2011.
