Trigranit has announced the date of the grand opening of Zagreb Arena Centar. The shopping-entertainment centre Arena Centar, which will open its doors on November 5th, is located close to the city centre, next to the river Sava, which divides the historic centre from the new part of town.

The site is also parallel to the main highway leading to the Croatian coast. There are 1.2 million residents living and working within a 20-minute drive-time radius of the project. Arena Centar is located on a site totalling 20 hectares and it will be one of the largest regional, enclosed shopping and entertainment centres in Croatia.

It will comprise of an ultra-modern shopping centre with a GLA of 62,000 m2 and will host over 200 retail outlets with a 10,000 m2 Ipercoop hypermarket and multifunctional 9 screen cinema.  In phase II and III additional retail and office premise are planned along with entertainment content. Parking for the centre will be underground and on-grade, with plans for over 3,000 parking spaces. Construction of the Arena Centar started in 2008.
