Croatia Airlines has announced the launch of scheduled flights between the Croatian capital Zagreb and Istanbul on March 27.
The flights to Istanbul, capital and largest city in Turkey, will be operated three times a week departing Zagreb’s Pleso Airport on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and returning from istanbul’s Ataturk airport later on the same days.
The airline reportedly introduced the new route after staff petition. Until now, Turkish Airlines has been the only airline operating between the two cities.
Croatia Airlines will also introduce several seasonal flights this year. New routes include flights from Dubrovnik to Athens and Venice, from Zadar to Munich, From Split to Hamburg and from Rijeka to London.
