The first website for medical tourism in Croatia was launched on Friday (31st July 2009) by the Association for the Development of Medical Tourism.

The main goals of the Association include the expansion of medical tourism in Croatia, promoting the services of the members of the Association in the domestic and international market, and promoting the awareness of the potential and necessity of the development of medical tourism in Croatia.

The Association, formed earlier this year following an initiative by surgeon Miljenko Bura, has brought together private clinics, surgeons and dentists keen to cater for foreign patients and promote medical tourism in Croatia.
