Wizz Air, the largest low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced that it would further expand its operations to Germany and launch new routes from Zagreb to Dortmund and from Kyiv to Hamburg Lubeck.
The flights from Zagreb to Dortmund will start on 30 March 2010 and initially operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with fares starting from EUR 24.99 one way including taxes and charges.
Wizz Air carried over 7.6 million passengers in the last 12 months. The airline's fleet is currently consisting of 26 Airbus A320 aircraft operating from 11 bases in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and Czech Republic.
Wizz Air has also announced that its summer routes are now available for booking at www.wizzair.com, with a number of cheap flights available to popular European city break destinations.
