Irish low cost airline Ryanair has announced on Tuesday (October 25th) the new route from Zadar to Karlsruhe (Baden) in southwest Germany. Flights will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, from March 28th 2012. The new route will be Ryanair’s 8th destination from the Dalmatian city.
To celebrate the launch of the new route from Zadar, Ryanair released 1 million € 9.99 seats for travel across its European network in November, December and January. Tickets are available for booking until midnight Thursday 27th October. Tickets for Ryanair’s new route from Zadar to Karlsruhe (Baden) have been on sale since Wednesday October 26th on
www.ryanair.com.
Commenting on the new route, Ryanair's Melisa Corrigan said:
"Ryanair is delighted to add one new low fare route to Zadar airport and to boost Croatian tourism and economy. Visitors and Croatian consumers can now beat the recession by choosing even more low fares and a new exciting destination in Germany.”
Ryanair's new route from Zadar to Karlsruhe (Baden) will certainly delight festival goers from Germany who plan to attend next year’s Garden Festival. The festival takes place annually on a beachfront location in the fishing village Petrcane near Zadar. Since its launch in 2006, the festival has grown considerably and established itself as one of the most popular music festivals in Europe.
