Hotel Excelsior in Dubrovnik has scooped the top award, the “Leading Five Star Hotel on Adriatic” at the Days of Croatian Tourism, an annual event for Croatian tourism professionals held last week in Sibenik. Excelsior is a member of the Adriatic Luxury Hotels group.

Jasna Durkovic, General Manager of the hotel proudly stated, "The main goal of our business is to satisfy all our guests, and I am delighted to see that the professionals and colleagues within the Croatian tourism sector also value and recognize what the Hotel Excelsior has achieved over the years. All of which are a result of our great team work."

Hotel Bellevue, also a member of the Adriatic Luxury Hotels, came third in the category, which is a first for the boutique hotel in the group. The Croatian tourism awards also recognise staff within the tourism sector and this year Anica Danicic, Executive Housekeeper at Hotel Bellevue was presented with "The Person – The Key to Success in Tourism" award.

The Excelsior’s spectacular views of the island of Lokrum and Dubrovnik Old Town were praised this month by the Marie Claire’s magazine which recommended Dubrovnik as one of the top destinations for autumn breaks.
