HB Reavis, one of the leading real estate developers from Slovakia, has announced on Monday (28 November) the launch of its first development in Croatia. The company presented a project for the construction of an office building in Zagreb worth EUR 60 million.
The office building, which will be located in Zagreb's business district at the intersection of Savska Street and Ulica Grada Vukovara Street, will have 34,000sqm of floor area above ground and 16,000sqm underground.
The construction is scheduled to start in 2012 and be completed within two years. According to David Boruta, HB Reavis Group board member, 550 workers will be engaged in the project development, while office building could employ some 1,500 people.
HB Reavis, founded in 1993, offers full-scale services, integrating investment, design, construction, real-estate, administration and consultation activities. The company focuses on three types of real-estate development – office development, retail and entertainment development, and logistics. Apart from Slovakia, the company operates in Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Croatia.
