EasyJet has announced that it will launch flights between Spanish capital Madrid and Dubrovnik for summer 2012.
The UK based low cost airline already operates seven flights between European cities and Dubrovnik, and the new route is the result of the big demand from the Spanish market.
Some 60,000 tourists from Spain visited Dubrovnik so far this year and new routes from Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia scheduled for 2012 should bring even more visitors.
Flights from Madrid to Dubrovnik will commence on June 23rd, and easyJet will fly three times a week on the new route (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays). Tickets cost from EUR 31.99 one way including taxes.
Last week Spanish national carrier Iberia has announced an additional flight per week bringing the number of flights to Dubrovnik to five.
