The adventure travel company Intrepid Travel is launching sailing adventure tours in Croatia for 2012. The tours are aimed for solo travellers as well as couples and groups of friends, and can be booked by the berth.
New Croatia sailing tours will drop anchor at some of the best spots on the Dalmatian coast and islands. With a high quality boat, experienced crew, meals and snorkelling equipment included, passengers are free to swim, snorkel and kayak while at sea, and hike, rock climb, dine and relax while on land.
The itineraries are fixed, yet flexible, offering passengers the choice of helping to sail the boat or simply sunbathing on deck. Equal flexibility is offered at the calling ports where visits to attractions, restaurants, bars or beaches are left up to the discretion of the passengers.
Intrepid Travel’s new sailing holidays in Croatia include two tours: Sail Croatia – Dubrovnik to Primosten and Sail Croatia – Primosten to Dubrovnik.
The 8 day sailing adventure Sail Croatia – Dubrovnik to Primosten starts at Dubrovnik and continues along the coast calling in at Ston/Mljet, Korcula, Ploce, Hvar, Brac, Split/Trogir and Primosten.
Alternatively, travellers can choose a sailing adventure that starts in Primosten and finishes in Dubrovnik, calling in at Trogir, Split/Brac, Hvar, Ploce, Korcula, Mljet and Ston.
While on land, passengers have an opportunity to explore ancient laneways in Ston, enjoy beaches in beautiful Hvar, explore charming city of Split, go snorkelling off the coast of Brac or take a guided tour of the Mljet National Park.
Departures for both tours are every Saturday from 28th April 2012 to 29th June 2013. Prices start from GBP £885 plus trip kitty (EUR €50) and include 7 Breakfasts, 6 Lunches and boat accommodation for 7 nights.
Intrepid Travel currently offers 15 per cent discount on new trips for bookings before January 16th. For more information, visit
