The New York Times has included Dubrovnik in its ‘The 45 Places to Go in 2012‘ list. The Croatian coastal city, described as “the St. Tropez of the Balkans” is 36th on the list which features Panama, Helsinki and Myanmar as the top three places.
The article says that Dubrovnik saw a steady increase of visitors in the last few years, around 10 per cent a year, and points out its marble streets, Renaissance fountains, white sand beaches, and new city attraction -
