Essentially Prestige, the UK travel specialist for Croatia, will be offering golf breaks at the Kempinski Hotel Adriatic in Istria for the first time in 2012.
Seven night holidays start from £659 per person and include accommodation on a B&B basis in a superior room, return flights from Stansted to Pula and car hire. The package also includes a saving of £81 if booked 90 days prior to travel, and offers up to a 20 per cent discount on all treatments in the hotel’s Greco-Roman Spa.
Essentially Prestige is also offering two green fees for the price of one for guests playing 18 holes at the independently owned and managed Golf Club Adriatic. The offer, available from April to June and throughout September and October, provides a saving of €55 during the week and €65 on weekends. There is also a 50 per cent discount on buggy hire and guaranteed tee off times when reserved one month in advance.
The championship golf course was designed by Austrian Diethard Fahrenleitner and is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. It is suited for golf for players at all levels and fully equipped with driving range, putting greens, clubhouse with restaurant, bar, buggy and club hire, pro shop and resident pro.
Located at the sea front near Savudrija, Kempinski Hotel Adriatic is an ideal base to explore Istrian inland with its medieval hilltop villages, vineyards and olive groves.
Istria has been named one of the world’s top 20 places to visit this year by editors of the National Geographic Traveler magazine, and, most recently, the region featured on the Fodor’s list "21 Places to Go in 2012".
