Croatia has been revealed as one of the happiest holiday destinations for Brits in a survey conducted by Skyscanner, a flight comparison website.
The survey asked travellers to rate how happy they were on their last holiday, and Croatia was voted in the top 20 destinations, sharing the 13th place with Japan with a score of 8.2 (out of 10).
Australia topped the list with a massive score of 9.7, followed by Italy with a score of 9.2, and Canada, Hungary, Malta and Thailand, all with the same score of 9. Greece was the last with a score of 6.2.
The survey results also revealed which Brits were happiest on holiday and found that those on the South Coast had the sunniest outlook on their holidays with residents of Brighton ranking as the no.1 happiest on their travels.
Residents of Manchester and Edinburgh ranked second and third respectively, while residents of Leeds were last in the rankings of 'holiday happiness' by UK regions.
