The flights to the Dalmatian city will be organised from Stockholm, Gothenburg, and six more Swedish cities and from the Polish city of Poznan. The first flight will be operated on 12th May 2012. 

 

Charter flights for seven-day-stays on Croatia's coast have already been advertised on the Swedish tour operator’s web site.

 

Commenting on the news, Zadar Airport Director Katica Pupic Bakrac said on Friday that the Scandjet charter flights would bring some 18,000 passengers. 

 

Zadar Airport expects a record number of 350,000 passengers this year. In keeping with current travel trends, the airport launched its first iPhone app earlier this month.
