Madonna has announced the dates for her latest world tour which will see her performing in Zagreb on June 11 at Stadium Maksimir.
The Madonna 2012 World Tour begins May 29th 2012 in Tel Aviv, Israel it was officially announced by Live Nation Entertainment, the tour's international promoter.
The shows will include arenas, stadiums and special outdoor sights including the Plains of Abraham in Quebec and a return visit to South America as well as Australia where she has not performed in 20 years.
The tour will stop in 26 European cities including London, Paris, Milan, Berlin and Vienna as well as Croatian capital Zagreb on June 11, 2012.
The announcement of Madonna's 2012 World Tour follows her performance at the Bridgestone Super Bowl Halftime on Sunday which was seen in over 200 countries by over a billion people.
Last week also saw the release of Madonna's new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'" from her highly anticipated new album MDNA scheduled to be released on March 26th.
Ticket prices for the Zagreb show range from 230 to 1790 Kuna (25 - 200 GBP), depending on seating location. Pre-sale tickets and VIP packages go on sale on 14 February at 10am local time. Regular tickets go on sale on 17 February at 8am local time and are available for purchase at all authorised outlets and online through
Eventim and
Viagogo.
The Madonna 2012 World Tour is her ninth tour. Her first tour was the 1985 Virgin Tour, and the last one was 2008-2009's "Sticky & Sweet” which grossed more than $400 million.
