Croatia's food and wines were featured on CNBC show Wine Portfolio last month. The show described Croatia as a destination for true lovers of traditional gastronomic specialties and fine wines.
The show, broadcast in late March, was filmed last year during a CNBC study tour of Croatia organised by the Croatian Tourist Board and its representative office in New York.
The show's host, Jody Ness, and his team visited Zagreb, Opatija, Kastav, Volosko, Motovun, Livade, Momjan, Vizinada, Porec, Pula, Plitvice, Sibenik, Skradin and Split, and interviewed a number of Croatia’s wine makers and chefs.
Wine Portfolio is a wine, food and lifestyle television series that airs on CNBC World in 40 countries around the world. The show is watched by over 95 million viewers in the US and Canada and 330 million people worldwide.
