The Croatian Ministry of Tourism has presented on its website a Catalogue of Investment Projects in order to provide potential investors with the information on investment opportunities in the Croatian tourism sector.
Divided in three parts, the 110-page Catalogue gives information on more than 30 companies, facilities and tourism projects for which Croatia seeks investors.
The first part contains information on the tourism companies in majority ownership by the state and awaiting the privatisation. There are fourteen such companies including the Health and Recreational Centre Lipik, Bizovacke Toplice Spa, hotel companies HTP Korcula, Hoteli Podgora, Hoteli Maestral Dubrovnik, Hoteli Plat and others.
The second part of the Catalogue gives information on projects related to the state owned limited liability companies founded in order to develop these projects on specific locations. These include projects such as Brijuni Rivijera and Park Prevlaka.
The third part of the Catalogue refers to other projects in the Croatian tourism sector. Currently these only include the Prukljan Tourism Zone project in Sibenik-Knin County near Lake Prukljan.
The Croatian Ministry of Tourism indicates that the Catalogue will be updated and modified as required and invites potential investors to contact the Ministry or the Agency for State Property Management for more information.
