Hotel Monte Mulini in Rovinj, a member of the Maistra hotel group, has become part of one of the world’s largest organisations in the luxury hotel business, The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW).
Monte Mulini is the first five-star boutique hotel in Rovinj which opened in March 2009, following an investment of nearly HRK 200 million.
“For Maistra and Hotel Monte Mulini, the inclusion in LHW’s offer, which represents a guarantee of quality for luxury hotels, is yet another confirmation of Hotel Monte Mulini’s exceptional status both in Croatia and the regional tourist offering. This is primarily a result of the outstanding efforts put in by the entire hotel team,” said Tomislav Popovic, Maistra’s CEO in the company statement.
“Since the opening in March of 2009, we have continuously worked on the quality of the offer and service to meet our guests’ highest demands. This membership is a reward for our work that additionally motivates us and shows us we are on the right track“, added Popovic.
Hotel Monte Mulini is situated at an attractive location by the sea in the century-old forest park Zlatni Rt, a ten-minute walk away from the centre of Rovinj. It was designed by the renowned architectural studio Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo. The hotel has 99 rooms and 14 suites, two 'fine dining' restaurants, Wine Vault and Mediterraneo, and a wellness centre of 1,000 square meters.
Established in 1928 and headquartered in New York, The Leading Hotels of the World now comprises 430 luxury hotels, destinations and spa centres in over 80 countries across the world. Hotels which want to join the organisation must be in the luxury hotel category and meet the highest standards in accommodation, service, food & beverage, staff’s behaviour and amenities to ensure ongoing compliance with this organisation’s high quality standards.
Another acknowledgement of the quality provided by Maistra’s Hotel Monte Mulini, is the recently received Certificate of Excellence Award from the Trip Advisor, world’s largest network community of travellers. The certificate rewards excellence in the tourism and service industries across the world and is only awarded to facilities achieving outstanding guest ratings on the Trip Advisor.
To qualify for the award, a company must maintain an overall rating of four points or higher (out of five points) awarded for guest ratings. Hotel Monte Mulini received five points and was among ten percent of the hotels, restaurants and service facilities which received the award. Additional significance is the fact that this award comes from world’s largest network community of travellers with over 50 million individual visitors and over 60 million opinions and ratings on a global level.
