The 59th edition of the Pula Film Festival will be held in the Istrian city of Pula from July 14th to July 28th, the event organisers announced at a press conference in Zagreb yesterday (June 13).
International programme will run for the whole two weeks, with screenings taking place at the fortress Kastel, Valli Cinema and the Roman amphitheatre Arena.
National programme will open on July 21 with the screening of Vlatka Vorkapic's romantic comedy "Sonja and the Bull" in the Arena. A total of eight films, including Croatia's first ever 3D film “Accidental Passer-by” directed by Jozo Patljak, will be shown in the national programme which runs for a week.
The festival organisers said that international programme will be announced at a press conference next week.
