Croatian culture and economy will be extensively promoted in France this autumn when 60 events take place across the country during the "Croatie, la voici" festival.
Cultural, tourist, business, sports and educational events will take place at 45 locations throughout France from September to December this year, it was announced recently when the festival’s programme was presented at the French Institute in Zagreb.
The organisers, Ministries of Culture of both countries, have announced the cooperation with major festivals in France such as the Festival d'Automne, Fiac, Mois de la Photo and Nuit Blanche, whilst the most significant exhibition of 12 sculptures by famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic in the Rodin Museum, which opens on 17 September, marks the beginning of the festival.
The official opening will take place on October 9 in the Cluny Museum when the presidents of Croatia and France are expected to open the exhibition of Croatian medieval art.
