The new four-star Valamar Lacroma Resort, Conference and Spa has been unveiled by Special Hotels of the World (SHOTW) on the Babin Kuk peninsula near Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Facilities at the 401-bedroom resort, which is to be part of the Valamar Hotels and Resorts Group, include one of the largest conference halls in Croatia with a capacity of 1,000 delegates, as well as two restaurants, four bars, a fitness centre and two swimming pools.
The resort also boasts a 938sq m (10,097sq ft) spa designed by ra.be Interior Design, which includes 10 treatment rooms, two relaxation areas, a Turkish bath, an ice fountain and a massage area, as well as a ladies-only Afrodita Spa.
Treatments offered at the spa, which include beauty and facial care, body treatments and massages, will use a range of products, including Decleor, Thalgo and Alessandro.
SHOTW is one of two brands operated by the Great Hotels Organisations, which provides products and services for more than 1,500 hotels around the world.
