Welcome to Andrea's charming 17th century stone house situated just off to the main square of the ancient city Krk. Use it as your next holiday destination or as a long weekend treat - easily accessible by direct international flights!
Surrounded by ancient Roman walls, the old city can be entered through four gates, leaving behind the sounds of heavy traffic, and entering into the fascinating living open air museum disturbed only by street performances and the soft murmur of people relaxing at plazas and the waterfront. You can explore historical sites and influences from Byzantine, Roman, Venetian, French (Napoleonic rule), Austro-Hungarian or Croatian times, or, you can take a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. Or, you can try to find your own bay! There are plenty undiscovered as yet!
The two cozy, well equipped, newly renovated apartments are self-contained and each sleeps up to four people. Your host is available to offer you tips on local secrets and sites (whether you are interested in exploring the rich heritage of the whole island or wandering across the sea to the nearby Venice for a day trip, or possibly doing some thorough wine testing).
Coming soon! Creative holiday workshops: “Finding your own voice” - improv acting and music courses on the beach, conducted in English by Sylvia Toone, founding director of the U.S. improvisational theatre company, S.T.A.R., and noted Croatian musician and composer, Andro Milic.
